The founder and Managing Director of OTRI PVT LTD, Shammoon has two decades of experience in the Maritime Sector. As a marine surveyor he travels across the country for surveys and valuations of varying scales. Shammoon is a member of Nautical Institute, UK, while holding a Diploma in Yacht and Small Craft Surveying (IBTC, UK) and Yacht Master with IYT Instructor license of Canada. He also holds Certificates of Competency, issued by the government of Malaysia, for Watch Keeping Officer unlimited and Chief Officer of vessels under 500 GRT. He has completed incident investigation and reporting by DNVGL and holds an instructor certificate for ECDIS from Singapore Maritime Academy. He worked as a deck cadet to Chief Officer from 1998 to 2004. Shammoon was an Associate Lecturer at the Center for Maritime Studies, the Maldives National University. He also retains the post for Director of Marketing at the Maritime Academy of Maldives apart from being an Executive Board Member of the Liveaboard Association of Maldives. He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, CILA UK and is currently pursuing studies to achieve CERT level.

Ismail Madhidh (Business management consultant and Property surveyor)

Ismail Madhih is a graduate from Help University, Malaysia (Affiliated Course with Charles Stuart University, Australia) in business Management and Marketing. For years, he owned and managed his own business and worked in many areas. Madhih provided consultancy for clients of IVES Pvt Ltd with his expertise of construction chemicals and related products. He has gained much experience in marine surveying and completed a training in Marine Hull claims conducted by DNVGL. Previously he was employed as a senior manager in IVES Pvt Ltd, and was closely engaged in consultancy work along with experts and civil engineers. He also worked at Maldives Airports Company and gained substantial in-house training with regards to Aircraft Fire and Rescue operations. Currently he handles operations related to marine and property claims apart from general operations.

Mohamed Waseem (Technical Consultant & Surveyor/ GIS Surveyor/ Project Consultant)

Mohamed Waseem is the former Technical Director and head of the Technical Division of FENAKA Corporation and was also the head of Projects Department at Thilafushi Corporation (later known as GMIZL). He has acquired training and experience on both management and technical fields and is an approved lecturer for Herriot Watt University (Scotland) and University of Bedfordshire UK, and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Waseem is also a TOPCON (Singapore) Trained GPS/GNSS surveyor for GR5 survey instruments. He also undertook the master zoning plan development of Thilafushi Island’s new development and supervised, evaluated and approved all private development projects of Thilafushi Industrial Island tenants for the last five years. He also oversaw the monitoring and maintenance of the Island’s harbors and shore-protection measures. Apart from this he is a trained RO engineer by MARINCO Srl (Italy) and has been an RO consultant since 2007 and works with architectural design firms in technical drafting.
